The exact launch date is yet to be confirmed, however the smartphone is tipped to be released around mid-April. IBN Live is citing unnamed sources that pre-bookings for the S6 in the country could go live for a couple of weeks after the official launch at MWC 2015. Since the report remains unconfirmed, we will have to wait till the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event on March 1 to get the exact details on the availability of the smartphone globally.
To remind you, Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to feature a 5.1-inch QHD super AMOLED display, octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB of RAM, fingerprint sensor and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which is rumoured to pack a curved display like Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, is also expected to be unveiled alongside its sibling at MWC and reach India soon after the S6.
