Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge appears in benchmark database, specs revealed

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in AnTuTuAs you might have gathered from the number of rumours and leaks being published in the tech media for the last few months, Samsung is working on a curved-screen version of its upcoming flagship Galaxy S6 smartphone. Until now, the specifics of this smartphone were a mystery, but thanks to a sighting in benchmarking app AnTuTu database, all key details of this phone have been revealed.

According to AnTuTu, the phone will include a 5.1-inch Quad-HD 2560x1440p curved display, 2.1GHz Exynos 7420 processor, and 3GB of RAM. The phone will also feature a 20MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter, Android 5.0.2 and 32GB of internal storage. These are some pretty impressive set of specifications, but it will be the actual implementation of the curved display and the software, which will decide whether the phone will succeed or remain a niche product.

To remind you, Samsung is hosting a press event on March 1 in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2015, where it will be unveiling the Galaxy S6 Edge or whatever the final name is, alongside Galaxy S6.
