Xiaomi Mi 3 saleIn an attempt to clear any remaining Mi 3 inventory before the introduction of Mi 4 smartphone next week in India, Xiaomi is holding a one-day sale for the smartphone on January 26. As usual, there is no easy way to participate in the sale and the company wants you to jump through multiple hoops before you are able to buy the smartphone.

As per a post on the company’s official Facebook page, the sale will take place at 5PM on January 26 and to participate the sale, you will have to complete a few tasks given in Facebook post. If you really want the phone, here is a quick look at the tasks.

  • Like this post on Facebook and share with 3 or more friends
  • Submit your Flipkart registered email address once the registration link is available on 12 noon at this link.
  • Log into http://www.flipkart.com at 5 PM on the same day– if you were fast enough to sign up, you will find the device in your shopping cart.
  • Complete the payment on Flipkart.

To remind you, Xiaomi Mi 3 is a high-end smartphone and comes with specifications such as 5-inch full HD IPS display, Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. The phone also packs 16GB of internal storage, 3050 mAh battery, Android 4.3-based MIUI v5 (Android 4.4 update is available). The phone carries a price-tag of INR 13,999.

  1. The greatest negative point of this phone is it’s memory.. only 16 gb internal n no micro sd card slot

  2. This has become absolutely ridiculous. First, flash sales and invites, now this. These companies are still taking money for these devices aren’t they?
    I mean jumping through all these hoops just to be able to BUY a phone and that too an outdated device is really idiotic.
    This trend should stop and consumers shall protest against these methods by not purchasing these phones.
