Gionee Pioneer P6 goes on sale in India for INR 8,890

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has added another affordable smartphone to its Android line-up in the Indian market. Part of the company’s Pioneer-series, the new Gionee Pionee P6 is now available via ebay India for INR 8,890. It is also listed on IndiaTimes Shopping for INR 8,260, but is out of stock at this point.

The smartphone doesn’t include any exciting features and will have a hard time taking on the likes of Yu Yureka, Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Moto G, Zenfone 5 (and 5 Lite).

Gionee Pioneer P6 sports a 5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It also comes with Android 4.4, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter and 1950 mAh battery. In addition, the P6 packs 1950 mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

The phone has been released in Black and White colour options. We expect to see expanded availability in the coming weeks.
