Flipkart teases Google Nexus 6 launch

Advertisements

Flipkart has started teasing the release of Nexus 6 in the Indian market. The e-retailer today shared the above teaser image on its social media channels, indicating an impending launch. This puts a stop on the rumours of the Nexus 6 India launch delay, which have appeared on select media outlets in the last few days.

We expect to see an official announcement in the next one or two weeks, but the exact release date is unclear at this point. The phone is likely to be sold exclusively at Flipkart.com and Google Play.

Thanks to the Nexus 6 listing on Play Store recently, we already know the pricing of the smartphone, which will retail for INR 44,000 (32GB) and INR 49,000 (64GB) in the country.

Originally introduced last month, Nexus 6 is currently only available for order in the United States, where too it is really hard to get a unit right now. We don’t expect Motorola to release many units of the phone in India initially.

As always, we will let you as soon as we have something concrete about the Nexus 6 India launch.
