Google Nexus 6 goes on pre-order in India, pricing starts INR 43,999

As we had anticipated, Google’s Nexus 6 smartphone is now available for pre-order in the Indian market via e-retailer Flipkart. Priced starting INR 43,999, the phone is being sold in 32GB and 64GB storage variants and will be available in Cloud White and Midnight Blue colour options.

Originally introduced last month, Google Nexus 6 is manufactured by Motorola Mobility and sports a 5.96-inch quad-HD AMOLED display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor and packs 3GB of RAM, 3220 mAh battery with wireless charging support and dual-front-facing stereo speakers. The Nexus 6 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is the latest version of Android OS. In addition, there is 4G support (not compatible with Airtel 4G), 3G, 13MP rear camera with OIS, 2MP front shooter and NFC.

Pricing and availability

As per Flipkart listing, Nexus 6 will start shipping in early-December. No word on availability at Google Play.
