Samsung to launch Galaxy Alpha in India on Sept 27

Advertisements

Samsung has started sending out invites for a press event on September 27 in New Delhi, where the Korean manufacturer is expected to unveil the new Galaxy Alpha smartphone for the Indian market. Although the invite doesn’t specifically state which smartphone is going to be launched on the day but the invite header – Experience The Most Stylish Smartphone – is pretty much a giveaway for Galaxy Alpha, given the phone’s premium design and style quotient.

To remind you, Galaxy Alpha is Samsung’s first smartphone to feature a metal-frame and comes with high-end specifications. The phone packs a 4.7-inch 720p Super AMOLED HD display, 2GB of RAM, 12MP rear camera, 2.1MP front shooter and Android 4.4. The phone is powered by Exynos 5 Octa 5430 process and includes 32GB of storage and 1860 mAH battery.

There is no word on the pricing at this moment but it is expected to cost over INR 35,000 in the country.  The phone will be released in White, Gold, Silver, Blue, and Black colour options.
