After getting spotted in Malaysia a few weeks back, Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone has now become official in Thailand. This 6-inch smartphone is listed on the Samsung Thailand website.

The phone sports an HD display, 8MP rear camera, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. The Mega 2 also packs 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and 2.1MP front camera. In addition, Samsung has included Android 4.4, LTE support and 2800 mAh battery on the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is pre-loaded with the usual TouchWiz software enhancements like Ultra Power Saving mode, Multi-window, and more.

The official pricing is unclear at this moment but it is expected to carry a price-tag around $350-$400. The phone will be available in Black and White colour options.

There is no word on the launch of Galaxy Mega 2 in other market but it is likely to reach more Asian markets like India where phablets are very popular. We will let you know as soon as we have some concrete information about the India release plans.
