Indian smartphone vendor Lava has announced the launch of a new budget Android smartphone in the country today. Dubbed as IRIS 460, the phone has been priced at INR 6,690 and is now available at all major retailers.

Sporting a leather back, the new Lava IRIS 460 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display, 1.GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, and VGA front shooter. The phone also packs 1GB of RAM, 4GB of on-board memory and microSD card slot. You can check out the full specifications later in the report.

In related news, Lava has silently released another budget Android phone in the Indian market. The new Lava IRIS 400Q can now be grabbed from e-retailers like HomeShop18 for INR 5,499.
