Oppo Neo 3 R831 goes on sale for INR 9,990

Oppo has released a new budget Android smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Oppo Neo 3, the smartphone is now available in major retail stores as well as online via Amazon.in and Flipkart.com. Although the phone has been priced at INR 10,990, it can be grabbed for as low as INR 9,990 on Amazon India.

The new Neo 3 is an upgraded version of the company’s previously released Oppo Neo smartphone. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 1900 mAH battery. The phone also comes with 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and Android 4.2.2-based Color OS.

As you can see from the specs, given the fierce competition in the entry-level segment, Oppo Neo 3 will have a hard time finding buyers, when the consumers can get Asus Zenfone 5, Zenfone 4 A450CG and Redmi 1S smartphones with much better specifications.
