Oppo unveils Neo, a 4.5-inch Android phone for $215

Oppo has announced the launch of its new Android smartphone Oppo Neo in Indonesia. The phone has been priced at 2,599,999 Rupiah ($215). There is no word on the release in other markets but the phone should be arriving in more countries soon.

Coming to the phone, Oppo Neo is a mid-range offering, as is suggested by the price-tag. It features 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch FWVGA display, Android 4.2-based Color OS, 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. It also packs 1900 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and the usual set of connectivity options.

In addition, the phone comes with glove-mode, which allows consumers to use the phone with their gloves-on, useful in winters.
