The new G3 A is essentially a G2 but with added LTE-A support, Laser auto-focus and a smaller battery. The specifications of the phone include a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display, Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. The G3 A also comes with 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front shooter, Android 4.4 and 2610 mAh battery.
LG states that G3 A includes several software customisations, which are SK Telecom specific including the likes of T Action, which allows the user to adjust six functions of the phone and can be triggered by simply moving the wrist. The LG-specific software features like Smart Keyboard, Smart Notifications, and Knock Code are also available on the smartphone.
There is no word on whether LG plans to release in phone in other markets but it is highly unlikely given the limited adoption of LTE-A technology outside Korea.
