Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen has silently released the successor to Flappy Bird game in the form of Flappy Birds Family. The game seems to be currently exclusive to Amazon’s Fire TV box and is only available via Amazon Appstore.
Flappy Birds Family is a two-player version of the original game and allows friends and family to compete with each other in full HDTV glory via Fire TV box.
“Flappy Birds now are on Amazon Fire TV with incredible new features: Person vs Person mode, more obstacles, more fun and still very hard. Enjoy playing the game at home (not breaking your TV) with your family and friends,” reads Amazon Appstore description of the game.
Dong is yet to reveal any details about the release of the game on other platforms or availability of the single-player version.
To remind you, the original Flappy Bird was released on Android earlier this year and lasted around ten days in Google Play before being removed by its creator because of the addictive nature of the game. The iOS version however arrived last year and was unheard of for a long time until it went viral in early 2014.
