Xiaomi has started rolling out Android 4.4.2-based MIUI KXDMIBE18.0 update for MI 3 smartphone in the Indian market. The update is also available in other Xiaomi countries like Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines.
The update is being released over-the-air, so you don’t have to anything, just head over to the Updater app in Tools folder and tap check for updates. Even you don’t check, your phone will also automatically notify you of the available update.
Around 620MB in size, the update brings a number of changes including several bug-fixes and improvements. You can check out the update highlights below and the detailed change-log is available here.

better stay away with this update, i am not able to hear any sound in voice calls except through headset or loudspeaker

I had an issue with GPS lock with stock ROM. It takes 10 minutes to lock even with Wifi/Inet access on open ground. After updating the latest ROM KXDMIBE18.0 loooks like that issue is resolved.

It looks like there is two unique update under KXDMIBE18.0. One which says 592MB ..another one which says 610.8 MB.. When i tried yesterday night i was given an option to download 592MB. But when i tried today morning it showed 610.8MB.
