Facebook has introduced Save, a new feature for Android (and web & iOS) that will allow users to bookmark news feeds items for later viewing. It is like a Read-it-Later for links, places, and media pages.
“Every day, people find all sorts of interesting items on Facebook that they don’t have time to explore right away. Now you can save items that you find on Facebook to check out later when you have more time. You can save items like links, places, movies, TV and music,” stated Facebook.
The social giant noted that the “Saved” items will only be visible to you, unless you decide to share them with your friends.
Adding to Save is very easy, all you to do is tap the small arrow next to the newsfeed items and select Save. All the saved items can be accessed anytime by going to Save in the Apps section of the “More” tab on mobile or by clicking the link on the left hand side of Facebook on the web.
The feature is being rolled-out now and will reach all users over the coming days.
