Advertisements

Samsung is reportedly getting ready to launch a new budget Android smartphone in the Indian market. To be dubbed as Galaxy Ace NXT, the phone will get a maximum retail price (MRP) of INR 8,550 with best buy price around INR 7,399.

The full specifications of this upcoming phone are unclear at this point but Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom notes that the phone will feature a 4-inch display, 3MP rear camera with LED flash, and 3G support.

At the given price-tag, Samsung will have a hard time competing with smartphones like Asus Zenfone 4 and Moto E, both offer great specifications at a better pricing but we will reserve our judgement until the final announcement to get a more clear idea of the phone features.

Update: A GFXbench database listing (spotted by Fone Arena) has revealed the other key specifications of the phone, which include 1.2GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC7715A processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage and microSD card slot.

I totally disagree. I think you’re being unnecessarily harsh on them. The specs are definitely good enough for 2.1 Eclair. LMFAO! 😛
