Sony is reportedly planning to launch its Xperia T3 Android smartphone in the Indian market next month. The phone will be released in the last week of July, most likely around July 28, reported 91 Mobiles. Sony has earlier stated that it plans to start global sales of Xperia T3 in July-end, which means India will be in the first wave of countries to get this smartphone.
According to 91 Mobiles, the Japanese manufacturer will be bundling its SmartBand SWR10 fitness tracker with the phone for free.
Originally introduced earlier this month, Sony Xperia T3 is a mid-range phablet and comes with 5.3-inch HD Triluminos display, 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Android 4.4. The phone also packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
In addition, Sony has included 8MP rear camera, 1.1MP front camera and 2500 mAh battery on the phone. There is no word on pricing right now but we expect it to be retail around INR 18,000-INR 20,000 in the country.
