Motorola launches Moto G 4G and Moto E in Australia

Motorola has announced the launch of Moto E and Moto G 4G smartphones in Australia and New Zealand. Both smartphones will go on sale beginning early-July in the two countries.

According to Motorola, Moto G LTE will retail for A$299 (Australia) and NZ$325 (New Zealand) and Moto E will be sold for A$179 (Aus) and NZ$195 (NZ). There is no word on which retailers will be carrying the phone but we hope to hear more in the coming days.

Originally announced last month, Moto G 4G features a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 4G LTE support, 1GB of RAM and 2070 mAh battery. The phone also comes with Android 4.4.2, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

On the other hand, Moto E packs 4.3-inch qHD display, Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.4 and 5MP rear camera. The phone also packs 1980 mAh batter, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

Both smartphones will be released in Black colour option, however we could see the release of Moto G LTE in White colour on a later date.
