Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition getting KitKat update in India

Almost two months after rolling-out Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition Wi-Fi version, the company has released the KitKat update for the 3G version of the tablet in India. Now available over-the-air, the update is 574MB in size.

As per the official change-log, the update bring KitKat-specific goodies like music album art on lock-screen, better downloads apps, immersive mode, new Hangouts app with SMS/ MMS support as well as Samsung-specific changes like new launcher settings menu, enhanced user-interface, and improved stability.

You will automatically get a notification on your tablet once the update is available or you can manually check for it by going to Settings << About Tablet << Software update.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II & AT&T Samsung Galaxy Mega getting KitKat in US

In related news, Verizon’s variant of Samsung Galaxy Note II and AT&T variant of Samsung Galaxy Mega have started receiving Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in the United States. Both updates are roll-out over-the-air and bring the usual KitKat goodies.

best thing about this update is now we can create multi users , so finally a tab supports multi users
