Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ goes on sale at Flipkart for INR 16,999

As promised, Flipkart has exclusively started selling the recently launched Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ smartphone today. The phone is now retailing at the e-retailer for INR 16,999 and comes bundled with Boomband activity tracker and JBL in-ear headphones. The website is also offering select launch day offers (only for today) like 50 percent discount on original Alcatel idol X+ flip covers and Flipkart eBooks worth INR 1,000 for free.

Alcatel One Touch’s Idol X+ smartphone features a 5-inch full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 2, Android 4.2, 2GHz octa-core MediaTek processor and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also includes 16GB of storage, 2500 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and 3G. On the imaging front, Alcatel One Touch has included 13MP rear camera and 2MP front camera on the phone.

Apart from old Android version, the phone packs decent specifications and is good option for mid-range smartphone buyers.  It will be competing with the likes of Micromax Canvas Turbo, Huawei Honor 3C, and Panasonic P81 at the price-tag.
