Dell has unveiled the updated versions of its Venue 7 and 8 Android tablets today. Set to go on sale next month, the refreshed tablets come pre-loaded with Android 4.4.
According to Dell, Venue 7 will now include a brighter display, however the resolution is still 1280x800p, Intel Atom Z3460 dual-core processor, and MaxxAudio Pro enhancement. Rest of the specifications are same as previous version, which include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot.
On the other hand, upgraded Venue 8 packs a full HD 1920x1200p display and is powered by Intel Atom Z3480 dual-core processor. The tablet also comes with MaxxAudio Pro enhancement, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/ 32GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot.
As you can see, there are no major changes from the existing versions but upgraded processors and improved display resolution (in Venue 8) will certainly boost the performance of the already decent tablets.
Pricing
As per the company, Dell Venue 7 will go on sale starting at $159.99, while Venue 8 will retail beginning $199.99 in red and black colour options.
So is there any news on the Pro 8 inch going full HD?
