An unannounced Sony smartphone has popped up in GFXBench database. Carrying the model number D2403, it seems to be a mid-range smartphone with specifications like 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, which is also present in Moto G.
Among other specs, the phone features Android 4.4.2, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. The exact display size is unclear as the benchmark listing suggests three sizes – 4.4-inch, 4.5-inch and 4.7-inch, however the resolution seems to be qHD (960x540p). We hope the future leaks will reveal the exact display size.
The smartphone also includes NFC, Wi-Fi, Barometer, Bluetooth and GPS. The final branding of hte phone is a mystery at this point but it could be a successor to Xperia L, however we can’ be certain right now.
There is no word on the release date or pricing at this point but we expect to hear more from the company at Computex 2014, which is scheduled from June 3 to June 7 in Taipei.
