Nokia X2 appears in benchmark database, specifications revealed

Nokia X2 specsLooks like Nokia X successor could arrive sooner than expected. After being leaked in China recently, the phone has now been spotted on AnTuTu benchmark database. The database has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming Nokia X2 (not to be confused to the old Nokia feature phone of the same name).

As per the folks at AnTuTu, the smartphone will come with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. The phone will be powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and feature Android 4.3, 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. It will also include dual-SIM support.

As you can see, these specifications are very similar to Moto E (apart from the lower display res) and if priced aggressively, Nokia X2 could turn out be a decent budget smartphone unlike its predecessor, which is a big disappointment.

There is no word on the exact release date right now but we hope to hear more in the coming days.
