Google and Intel on Tuesday showcased a number of new Chrome OS products, which will go on sale in the coming months. The companies also talked about what is in the store for Chrome OS and the Intel chips for the platform.

Talking about the new Chrome OS devices first, Lenovo is going to introduce three Chromebooks in coming months including one for education/ enterprise market. We have already told you guys about two of these Chromebooks – N20 and N20p, the third one is Thinkpad YOGA 11e. YOGA 11e is a convertible Chromebook with some nifty additions that make it perfect for a school environment. It is powered by Intel’s Bay Trail processor.

Among other Chrome OS partners, Asus will be releasing the new C200 (11-inch) and C300 (13-inch) Chromebooks in the coming months, which too come with Intel Bay Trail processor.  In addition, Intel showcased a Bay Trail powered reference Chromebook, which is expected to be released by select OEMs in the future.

The companies also revealed launch time-frames for two of the already announced products LG Chromebase and HP Chromebox, which will go on sale in May and June respectively.

Among the upgraded products, we will be seeing Core-i3 versions of Dell Chromebook 11 and the Acer C720 Chromebooks over the comings months.

Apart from the new products, Google also talked about some of the upcoming changes to Chrome OS like offline access to Google Play Movies and TV content. The company will be releasing a new version of Chrome OS in the next few weeks, which will allow users to store Google Play Movies content for offline access. The functionality will probably be like pinning support present on Play Movies in Android.

In addition, Google revealed that Chrome OS products will reach nine more countries this year up from 20 countries right now.
