LG Lucid 3 debuts on Verizon in US for $299.99 without contract

LG has released the Lucid 3 smartphone on telecom operator Verizon Wireless in the United States. The smartphone is now available for free with two-year contract or for $12.49/ month on Verizon Edge. It can also be grabbed without contract for $299.99.

LG Lucid 3 succeeds Lucid 2, which was previously released on Verizon. The new smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch qHD display, Android 4.4, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 2440 mAh battery. Lucid 3 also packs 4G LTE support, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera and 8GB of internal storage.

On the software front, LG has included KnockOn, QSlide 2.0, Quickmemo, and other usual LG software tweaks on the Lucid 3.

LG G2 Mini coming to UK later this month

In more LG news, UK retailer Clove has revealed that LG G2 Mini smartphone will be coming to UK later this month and will be sold for 249.99 GBP (including VAT). Originally unveiled at MWC 2014, the phone packs similar features to those present in LG Lucid 3 but there are a few differences.

LG G2 mini features 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 4.7-inch display, KitKat, 2440 mAh battery and 8MP rear camera.
