HTC One M8 coming to Singapore on April 5, rest of Asia by early-May

HTC has announced that it plans to release the new HTC One M8 smartphone in Singapore market on April 5, which will be the second Asian country to get this HTC flagship after Taiwan. According to HTC, the phone will retail for S$998 in the country.

The company has also stated that it plans to bring HTC One M8 to most of Asia by the early-May but did not reveal the exact release dates. To remind you, as per a previous statement from HTC India, the One M8 will reach Indian shores in the third-week of April, which is in-line with HTC’s latest revelation.

HTC seeing massive demand for One M8 in Taiwan

In related news, a Taiwanese mobile distributor Pdaking has told Focus Taiwan that it is seeing huge demand for HTC One M8. “Demand is higher than supply right now,” said Sophia Tsai, GM, Pdaking.

Sophia also stated that since the release of One M8 on March 25, the orders for the phone have been doubling each day.

To remind you, HTC’s new One M8 comes with full HD display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4, and 5MP front camera.
