Snapdeal partners with Aircel to provide free data to smartphone buyers

Online retailer Snapdeal has announced that it has partnered with telecom operator Aircel to offer data benefits to the buyers of data-enabled phones on its website. For a limited period, the consumers, who will buy a data-enabled phone or smartphone from Snapdeal.com, will get 3 GB of free 3G/2G data from Aircel for a period of 3 months.

The retailer will give a promo code to such buyers, which can then be redeemed by these buyers for free data.

 

“We want to give e-shopping enthusiasts more reasons to buy from our site. Our alliance with Aircel brings an offer that is unbeatable in the offline or online space. Smartphones are bought for a great browsing experience amongst other features and Snapdeal along with Aircel is providing an avenue for Smartphone customers to experience hassle free browsing at 3G/2G speeds, free of cost,” said Tony Navin, VP – Business Development, Snapdeal.com, in a statement.
