Samsung has officially announced its Galaxy Tab 3 Lite budget tablet today. The company has not revealed the pricing or availability details right now but it has said that tablet will be launched in White and Black colour options.

Featuring entry-level specifications, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite comes with 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 7-inch 1024x600p WSVGA display, Android 4.2, and 2MP rear camera. It also packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, microSD card slot, 3G, and 3600 mAh battery. There seems be no front camera on the device, which is surprising as a front camera would make more sense than a rear one on a tablet.

“The Galaxy Tab3 Lite (7”) sports a slim, light-weight design with a more compact bezel that makes it comfortable to carry around in one hand,” noted Samsung in a press release.

As you can see, there is hardly anything earth-shattering in the tablet, so we are expecting a price-tag around $200.
