Micromax Canvas XL features a 6-inch qHD display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Android 4.2. The phone also comes with 2450 mAH battery, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 3G support and dual-SIM connectivity.
The smartphone seems to be Micromax’s answer to upcoming Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and HP Slate 6 VoiceTab devices. Apart from the poor resolution display, the device seems decent on-paper. It is being targeted to the consumers who don’t want to carry both tablet as well as smartphone on-the-go thus a large-screen phone, which can do the work of two devices.

Why not make a phone with 6″ screen of QVGA (240×320) resolution?
My sentiment exactly. Although you’re much funnier in your sarcasm than I would have ever been. And it’s not just the res either. It’s just all around corner cutting for a phone this price that leaves me scratching my head.
Only a completely clueless person would spend so much in 2014 for this POS. Not only is this well and truly in Moto G territory, just take a look at what Asus is coming up with in the next few weeks! What-the-massive-ginormous-major-league-F*** MMX!
