Sharp introduces AQUOS PHONE SERIE mini & AQUOS PAD SHT22 in Japan

Sharp has announced that it will be releasing a new Android smartphone and tablet on Japanese telecom operator KDDI. The new AQUOS PHONE SERIE mini & AQUOS PAD SHT22 will be a part of KDDI’s spring line-up and go on sale next month.

Coming to the specifications, AQUOS PHONE SERIE mini features a 4.5-inch full HD IGZO LCD with a very thin bezel, 13.1MP rear camera and 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It also features a 1.2MP front camera, Android 4.2, 2120 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

Sharp has also included connectivity options like NFC, Infrared, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 4.0 on the AQUOS PHONE SERIE mini.

The smartphone will be released in Pink, blue, yellow green, white colour options.

Talking about AQUOS PAD SHT22, this Android tablet packs a 7-inch 1920x1200p display, Android 4.2, 13.1MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera and 4080 mAH battery. It also comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, NFC, and LTE support.

Both AQUOS PHONE SERIE mini & AQUOS PAD SHT22 are water proof.
