Huawei India is reportedly planning to launch its Ascend G730 and Y600 smartphones in the country in March 2014. The company revealed this in a product roadmap shown at the Huawei Club events organised in various India cities over the last few days.

Folks at Gadgets to Use, who were present at this event, have confirmed the device details but the exact availability and pricing information remain a mystery.

Showcased at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, Huawei Ascend G730 features 5.5-inch qHD display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 2300 mAh battery and Android 4.2. It also comes with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, and the usual set of connectivity options.

On the other hand, Ascend Y600 packs a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.2 and 2100 mAh battery. It also includes 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, and 0.3MP front camera.

We expect Ascend G730 to get a price-tag around INR 15,000 while Ascend Y600 would most likely retail under INR 10,000.
