Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 priced at INR 22,999, now on sale

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 ListingSamsung has finally revealed the pricing of Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone for the Indian market. The phone is now listed on the company’s official online store and e-retailer Infibeam with a price-tag of INR 22,999 and can be purchased now.

The brick and mortar stores should start receiving Grand 2 stock tomorrow, so you can head over to your nearest retailer to grab the phone this weekend.

Originally announced for the Indian market last month, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 features a 5.25-inch 720p HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 2600 mAh battery. The phone also comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 8GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera and dual-SIM support.

The company is also pre-loading its content store called Club Samsung on the device, where users will be able to get music, movies and live TV.

    • The retail pricing will most probably be a tad lower, and the price will also come down a little after a few weeks, but 2 thousands more will get you the Galaxy S3 and 6 thousands more will get you the Nexus 5.

      So yeah, unless the retail pricing is around twenty or below that, it will have really tough competition. Just the SS brand alone might sell a few, but expect the price to rationalize especially after the Moto G release, provided of course, the MG itself releases with a proper price tag!

      • Yes other online retailers might price a thousand less and its price will further go down as usual in few weeks (Samsung’s strategy 😛 ) .Been waiting for Moto G from November and I guess it is coming only in Early Feb 😦

        And everything aside, I still think Xperia ZR is better than S3 . 😉
