Sony has started taking pre-orders for its newly launched Xperia Z1 Compact smartphone at the online Xperia Stores in various European countries. These pre-order listings have revealed the pricing of the Z1 Compact, which was not announced by the company at the CES unveiling of the phone.
As per the UK Sony Xperia Store, Xperia Z1 Compact will sell for 449GBP (incl VAT) (INR 45,653), similarly the store in countries like Germany and Italy put the price at 499 euros (INR 42,021), while in France, Netherlands and Spain, the phone has priced at 549 euros (INR 46,232).
This gives us a fair idea of how that phone is going to be priced in various other countries including India. It is important to note here that as the European prices include the hefty 20pc VAT, the pricing in other countries will be slightly less. So, we can expect it to reach India with a price-tag around under INR 40,000, will probably be priced closer to Z1, which packs the similar specs.
On the availability front, the phone is already stated to be coming in March and the Xperia Store has also revealed that shipping for the pre-ordered Xperia Z1 Compact will start in the end-of-February.

waste of money for 43k. In 43k we can get note 3. Even z1 is cheaper than this at 35-36k.
