According to folks at Engadget, who handled the console at CES, Huawei Tron runs on Android 4.2, and comes with the Chinese manufacturer’s custom skin atop Android. It also packs 16/ 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 2GB of RAM, Ethernet port, USB 3.0, audio out, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac and NVIDIA’s Tegra 4 quad-core processor.
Made of glossy plastic, the console bears resemblance to Apple’s new Mac pro in design. The controller is very Xbox like and comes with circular touchpad, four action buttons, four shoulder triggers, and buttons for home, menu, mute and view.
There is no word on the availability in markets other than China. We hope to hear more in the coming months.
