Acer announces Liquid Z5 Android phone for 169 euros

In addition to the new Iconia-series tablets, Acer has also unveiled a new Android smartphone today. Dubbed as Liquid Z5, the new smartphone will be available beginning mid-January in select European markets.

Acer liquid Z5 features 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, 512MB of RAM, Android 4.2 and 5MP rear camera. The phone also comes with VGA front camera, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 2000 mAh battery.

In addition to these specifications, Acer has also included host of software tweaks on the device including Quick Mode profiles, Float user-interface, and one hand control support.

According to Acer, Liquid Z5 will be released in White and Grey colour options for 169 euros. It will be available in France, Benelux, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine and UK markets.
