Intex has added yet another smartphone to its Android portfolio in the Indian market. The company announced the launch of Aqua i-4+ today and the phone will be available in the coming days for INR 7,600 across the country.

A variant of the company’s earlier launched Aqua i-4, the new i-4+ features a 5-inch FWVGA display, dual-core processor and Android 4.2.2. It also comes with 8MP rear camera, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. In addition, Intex has included the usual set of connectivity options, dual-SIM support and 2000mAh battery on the Aqua i4+.

Intex has also pre-loaded apps like WeChat, OLX, Matrabhasha, Intex Cloud app, Intex Play and more on the phone.

“Intex Aqua i-4+ is yet another endeavour from Intex to meet the expectations of today’s consumer in terms of design and performance. With its impressive specifications and features, Aqua i-4+ promises to be a smart and powerful smartphone capable of providing smooth user-experience,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head – Mobile, Intex Technologies (I) Ltd in a statement.

There does not seem to be any difference between Intex Aqua i-4 and i-4+ as both phones have practically the same specifications.
