Advertisements

As promised, LG has started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for LG G2 smartphone in its home market South Korea on Tuesday. The update is now available over-the-air and is 637.39MB in size. It is currently being released for telecom operator KT consumers, however we hope to see SKT and LG U+ users too getting the update soon.

We could not find the official change-log but you can expect to the see the usual KitKat goodies like immersive mode, cloud-print support, Chrome webview, improved downloads app, and more.

Although LG has not officially announced plans for KitKat update release in other market, some reports indicate that we should be seeing the update in Q1, 2014.
