Samsung Galaxy S4 has emerged as the most searched Android device in 2013 and it is the same story in US searches as well as India smartphone searches. It is also the only Android device in the overall top ten global searches of the year.
Galaxy S4 is followed by HTC One, Nexus 5, Galaxy S3, Moto X and LG G2 in the top ten US smartphone searches, however it is a slightly different scene in India and Micromax’s prominence in the market is clearly visible.
Unlike US, Galaxy S4 is followed by Micromax Canvas 2, Samsung Galaxy Grand, Micromax Canvas, Sony Xperia Z, Micromax Canvas 4, Nexus 4 and Samsung Galaxy S3 in India.
Globally, Google has not revealed smartphone-specific search data but there are a few Android smartphones in the top ten consumer electronics searches like Galaxy S4, Nexus 5, HTC One, and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
