Micromax Canvas Blaze features 5-inch display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera, front camera and 1850 mAh battery. The phone also comes with 768MB of RAM, Android 4.1, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
As you can see, the specifications are clearly on the downside as most of the smartphones from other Indian vendors (even Micromax) come with quad-core processor, at least 2000 mAh battery and newer Android version at this pricing. The only positive for this smartphone is CDMA support, which is available in very few Android smartphones available in the country.
The phone is currently available at e-retailer Shopclues, but we hope to see broader availability in the coming days.
Price: INR 11,999
While the Canvas Blaze on Shopclues in an unlocked version, it seems MTS India is planning to launch the same phone with Micromax in the country. MTS would most liklely offer attractive data-plans to Blaze buyers, so if you plan to use Canvas Blaze on MTS’s CDMA network, you should wait for the official availability from MTS.
