Assassin’s Creed Pirates available on Android for $4.99 [Update]

Update: Assassin’s Creed Pirates is live in Google Play and is compatible with most of the high-end Android smartphones and tablets including HTC One, Nexus 4 and Nexus 5.

Earlier: Ubisoft is bringing Assassin’s Creed series to Android this week. According the developer, Assassin’s Creed Pirates will be released in Google Play on December 5 for $4.99.

Assassin’s Creed Pirates, which as the name suggests, is based on the piracy theme and not the usual assassination. The players will take on the role of Alonso Batilla, whom they have to take from being a captive on a ship into a dread pirate and then seek the treasure.

The title is built around a new 3D graphics engine and features great graphics, thus will require serious specs in your Android smartphone or tablet. We will let you guys know once it is available for purchase. Till then, check out the game trailer below.
