The key specifications of the HTC One successor (codenamed M8) have been revealed thanks to data captured by AnTuTu benchmarking app. Folks at AnTuTu shared this data on their blog, which notes that HTC M8 will run on Android 4.4 and feature a 5-inch 1920x1080p display.

The smartphone will also come with Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AB SoC with Adreno 330 GPU, 4MP Ultrapixel camera, 2.1MP front camera, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. As you can see, there is just a marginal improvement in the specifications of M8 over M7 aka HTC One but they are still quite decent.

The inclusion of better and newer Snapdragon MSM8974AB processor is clearly visible in benchmark results, which consistently outperform HTC One.

Expected to be announced at Mobile World Congress, HTC M8 will most probably become available in March/ April 2014.
