HTC announces HTC One in gold colour

Unlike the actual-gold plated HTC One and One Mini smartphone, HTC today took the wraps of HTC One in golden colour. The new smartphone just features gold-coloured aluminum body and not real gold.

Set to go on sale in parts of Europe next month, the Gold HTC One comes with the same specifications as you would find in any other version of One. It packs 4.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, Ultrapixel camera, and Android 4.2 (Android 4.3 update already available in some regions).

“Building on the all metal design of the HTC One, and the recent success of the HTC 18 carat gold MOBO phone, we are excited to have developed our own gold device, offering yet more choice to consumers”, said Philip Blair, President of HTC EMEA.

There is no word on the availability of Golden HTC One outside EMEA region.
