Samsung co-CEO JK Shin has revealed that his company has shipped 5 million units of the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone within a month of release. Shin announced this number while talking to the Korea media at an event and noted that market response for Note 3 is good.

To put the shipments of Note 3 in perspective, the original Note took 5 months to achieve this milestone, while Note II was able to cross 5 million unit shipments in just two months. Note III has left both of its predecessors behind.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which went on sale across various markets in September 25, features a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.3 and S-Pen. It comes with a plastic body and a faux-leather back cover. The overall reviews of the phone have been positive.
