Twitter for Android beta brings another UI change

Advertisements

Twitter really seems to be invested in its beta Android app program. The company issue a beta app update earlier today, which brings its second major user interface (UI) change in the matter of weeks.

The hamburger navigation and the new tabs introduced in the last UI revamp are gone and the company has brought simpler tabs (home, discover and activity) and floating compose buttons. Notifications, direct messages, search and other options are still located on the top. The settings menu is also pretty much the same.

There is no word on whether this is going to be the final design that will make its way to the stable version but clearly Twitter is giving beta testers a lot to play around.

There is no official change-log available, so we are not sure if there are any under-the-hood changes. If you are a part of Twitter for Android beta program, the updated app would already be available for you in Google Play device client.
