LG to launch G Pro Lite dual budget phablet next month

Advertisements

Korean manufacturer LG is planning to launch a cheaper variant of its Optimus G Pro smartphone to take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy Grand duos, Galaxy Mega and Sony’s Xperia C. To be dubbed as LG G Pro Lite dual, the smartphone will be first released in Russia next month, reports Hi-Tech.mail.ru.

While G Pro Lite dual will keep Optimus G Pro’s 5.5-inch display and 3140 mAh battery, the screen resolution and other specifications of the device are going to be different. According to Hi-tech.mail.ru, the smartphone will be powered by a dual-core processor and come with an 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor and dual-SIM support.

LG G Pro Lite dual will also reportedly pack the software tweaks like KnockOn, guest mode, QSlide etc, which have been a part of recent LG smartphones.

The phone will be sold at 12,990 rubles ($401) in Russia, when it goes on sale around mid-October. Other details are a mystery right now but we hope to see an official announcement soon.
