Lava officially launches IRIS 506Q smartphone for INR 10,999

Lava today officially unveiled its IRIS 506Q smartphone in the Indian market. The phone was recently spotted at an online-retailer along with IRIS 505. According to Lava, IRIS 506Q has been priced at INR 10,999 and is now available in stores.

The smartphone packs a 5-inch qHD display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The phone also comes with Android 4.2, 5MP rear camera, 2000 mAh battery, 3G and front camera.

Lava notes that IRIS 506Q is FOTA upgradable, so if the company releases Android 4.3 or any other software update in the future, you will be able to install it directly on the phone over-the-air.
