Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Gear India launch on September 17

Next few days are going to be filled with key smartphone launches in the country. Samsung has just sent out invitations to the Indian tech press for Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear launch, which is happening on September 17 in New Delhi.

As we reported earlier, just a week after this launch (read Sep 25), both these devices will go on sale in the country along with 140 more countries around the world.

There is no word on the pricing right now, which will be shared at the launch event.

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was announced along with Galaxy Gear at the September 4 press event in Berlin. Note 3 features a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor. It also comes with 3GB of RAM, 32/ 64GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 3200 mAh battery and Android 4.3.

The company is initially expected to release the 32GB model in Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink colour options.

On the other hand, Galaxy Gear, which is a companion smartwatch for Note 3, comes with a 1.63-inch 320×320 Super AMOLED display and 800MHz processor. It also packs 1.9MP camera, Bluetooth, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage.
