Device spotted in Asus support site
The first images of Asus’s upcoming new Padfone Infinity A86 have been leaked online from Taiwan. These images show that A86 won’t be much different from earlier launched Asus Padfone Infinity A80 and the main difference is going to be the processor inside. The upgraded version A86 will come with Snapdragon 800 CPU instead of Snapdragon 600 present in current generation Padfone Infinity.
Other specifications are expected to remain same – 5-inch 1080p display, 13MP rear camera, 2GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The tablet dock will also most likely be similar to the existing Padfone Infinity.
According to ePrice Taiwan, new Asus Padfone Infinity A86 could be available beginning end of September, so it is very possible that it will on display at IFA Trade Fair next month in Berlin.
In related news, the device has also been spotted on Asus support site, in turn confirming the “new Padfone Infinity” name. The company has now removed the mention.
