Thanks to the prominent leaker evleaks, we have the first screenshots of Samsung Gear Manager app and the confirmation that Galaxy Gear will indeed be managed by Gear Manager as rumoured earlier.

These screenshots show that users will be able to connect their Gear smartwatch to their smartphones with just a single tap using NFC, while actual connection takes place via Bluetooth.  In addition, the Gear Manager will allow the consumers to change clocks, add applications or edit settings of the existing apps directly from their smartphone.

This is not all; the app will also help users in finding their smartwatch in case it goes missing.  There are still a lot of question like which kind of applications would be available for Galaxy Gear or will the watch be compatible with other manufacturers’ smartphones or just Samsung. Considering the official announcement is just a few days away, we won’t have to wait for long for the answers to these questions.

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch is rumoured to feature a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2.5-inch 320x320p display, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, 4MP front camera, Jelly Bean and 6/ 8GB of storage.
