Sony’s flagship for the second half of 2013, Xperia Z1 is rumoured to come with 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 20.7MP rear camera with Sony G Lens and Android 4.2.2. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2GHz.
It will be joining the company’s already available high-end models like Xperia Z, ZL, Z Ultra and ZR. There is no word of the pricing but a recent report had indicated that the phone might get a price-tag close to INR 50,000 ($743) in the Indian market, where it is allegedly getting launched on September 18.
In related news, Sony is also rumoured to be working on a mini version of Xperia Z1 but we are yet to see any concrete evidence for the same. The rumoured specs of the phone are pretty good and if it turns out to be real, the company will surely have a winner in its hands.
